TileSKIN is a water–based peelable coating that provides temporary protection to ceramic, porcelain and marble tiles. The unique paint on and peel off application / removal process makes protecting valuable surfaces fast and easy.

TileSKIN protects all tiles and timber floors from scratches and scuff marks from shoes when stood on, foot traffic, tool box and tools, general building debris and paint removal.

TileSKIN protects the sides of bench tops and vanities from knock damage from tool belts, tools and general traffic damage.

TileSKIN is suitable for different fixture surface types including all tiles surfaces, polished marble & granite, reconstituted granite, marble & limestone with filler and timber.

TileSKIN qualities including lasts up to 12 months, cannot fall off or bake on, will not leave any residue impenetrable to dirt and not effected by water.

Preparation:

1. Ensure TileSKIN it stirred / shaken throughly.
2. Ensure surface to be protected is clean and dry.
3. Use a thick nap (20mm or 3/4’’) acrylic fibre paint roller that is clean and dry, or already soaked in TileSKIN.

Application:

1. Use paint roller to apply TileSKIN liberally to surface being protected.
2. Create a neat finish at border of application by slightly titling the roller towards the border. This technique will create a lip at the edge of the application and will avoid a feathered edge.
3. Leave a small gap at all junctions, corners and gaps.
   
   

Removal:

1. Start at one corner of membrane and gently peel-off taking care to keep the membrane in one sheet.
2. Water may be required to aid release and wash surface with warm soapy water.
3. Ensure surrounding surfaces are completely washed down and all TileSKIN pieces are removed.
