MarineSKIN is a water-based peelable coating that provides
temporary protection to all non-porous marine
surfaces during manufacture. The unique paint
on, peel off, application / removal process
makes protecting valuable surfaces fast and
easy.
MarineSKIN protects all applicable boat floor and wall
areas from scratches, chips, burns and general
damage caused by foot traffic, general scuff
damage, dropped tools, grinding sparks, tool
boxes, removal of rubbish debris, tool belts,
removal of dried, wet materials and lead
rubbing.
MarineSKIN is suitable for gel coated-fibreglass (smooth,
or rough patterned.
MarineSKIN qualities including last up to 12 months, cannot
fall of or bake on, will not leave any residue,
dirt cannot get underneath skin and water does
not effect protection.

Preparation:
- Ensure MarineSKIN it stirred / shaken
thoroughly.
- Ensure surface to be protected
is clean and dry.
- Use a thick nap (20mm or
3/4’’) acrylic fibre paint roller that is clean
and dry, or already soaked in
MarineSKIN.
Application:
- Use paint roller to apply MarineSKIN liberally
to surface being protected.
- Create a neat
finish at border of application by slightly
titling the roller towards the border. This
technique will create a lip at the edge of the
application and will avoid a feathered
edge.
- Leave a small gap at all junctions,
corners and gaps.
Removal:
- Start at one corner of membrane and gently
peel-off taking care to keep the membrane in one
sheet.
- Water may be required to aid
release and wash surface with warm soapy
water.
- Ensure surrounding surfaces are
completely washed down and all MarineSKIN pieces
are removed.
